So easy my husband made it and wrote this post.
Ninja Foodi Bacon Wrapped Chicken was SUPER easy on the Ninja Foodi Grill and tasted amazing! My wife was running late so I was left to throw this together. I pulled up the recipe and went to work. The rub comprised of a half dozen spices and some honey. Together they gave the chicken a sweet heat. Not too hot as my daughter came back for seconds.
What You Need
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8-12 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup grasped oil (or vegetable oil)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for basting
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
We are lucky enough to live less then 30 minutes from a fabulous butcher that cuts meat to order while you wait. We had several large chicken breasts butterflied and then each half was cut into thirds for some nice sized chicken tenders. I rubbed the spices and honey on the chicken and wrapped it in some bacon from the butcher. When you rub the spice mix onto the chicken just do one side. It is think and sticky so if you flip it over it gets messy.
Cooking Ninja Foodi Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Insert the probe in the Ninja Foodi Grill and preheat it to 500 degrees. I put the probe in the biggest part of the chicken, and I cooked it until it hit 100 degrees. Then I flipped the bacon wrapped chicken over and cooked it until the probe read 170 degrees. I did notice the grill was drying the bacon and edges of the chicken a bit, so I started basting the chicken with honey to keep it moist while cooking. We add a slice of melted cheese to some just to try it. As I said, my daughter came back for secondS
My wife thinks this could also be made in the Ninja Foodi similarly to the Ninja Foodi Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin. Pressure cook the wrapped chicken and then air fry the bacon. I am sure we will be trying that soon.

in a ninja ? is this possible ?
In the Grill for sure. However in a regular Ninja you could probably pressure cook, then air dry to get the bacon done and then if you wanted to caramelize the sauce toss down the broiler lid for a minute or so.
