Universal Marshmallow Sauce

We love sweet potatoes loaded with marshmallows, brown sugar and cinnamon.  It seemed we could not recreate that taste at home until Universal Marshmallow Sauce.  I came across a marshmallow sauce recipe online and tweaked the ingredients a little to get this sweet sauce with hints of cinnamon.

With just four ingredients and a microwave this sauce is ready to go in less than five minutes.  It stores and reheats well.Like the title states this sauce is universal.  We started using it on sweet potato fries and baked sweet potatoes.  However, my daughter start dipping strawberries in it. She is known for taking dips to school for lunch.  This one was very popular.  Her containers got larger one day as she was sharing with everyone to dip their fruit in.

Universal Marshmallow Sauce

This microwavable sauce only used 4 ingredients and is fabulous. We use it on sweet potatoes, of any kind, fruit, desserts, and endless possibilities.

Ingredients

• 10 oz Mini Marshmallows, measured by bag size.
• ½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
• 1 tbsp Brown sugar
• 1 tbso Cinnamon

Instructions

• Pour marshmallows and cream in a large microwavable safe bowl.
  
• Cook for 30 second in the microwave and stir. Continue to cook at 30 or 15 second intervals, stirring in between, until sauce is smooth.
  
• Add brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well
